I have been busy so far this summer with vacations, but also with reflection on the past year and planning for the future. I have lots of new ideas to approach History this year. I will continue to work on those ideas and refine them throughout the remainder of the summer. One thing I would like is more involvement with this blog. I did a poor job of keeping up with it, but a lot of that had to do with lack of interest. The lack of interest had to do with an introduction to the blog partway through the year. I want to make sure I introduce students and parents to the blog first thing this year. This blog could be a great place to review what has been covered in class, keep updated on classroom events, have more in-depth discussions about classroom topics, or just communicate about the needs of the classroom. I pledge to keep up with this blog more regularly if the students and parents are interested.
